I moved to Warwick in 2006 and shortly afterwards married my late wife. We joined St Nicholas Church having received a very  warm, friendly welcome. It helped us so much as we quickly became part of the church family.

My career was in civil and military engineering (in the Royal Engineers) – a career that took me to many parts of the world: Europe, the Far East, America and even St Helena!

My husband David and I met and lived in London for many years, then moved to Sheffield due to his work.  We came to Warwickshire in 1985, at first living in Norton Lindsey where I ran the church choir at Holy Trinity.  My working life involved retail store management, teaching and being a PA.  I served as a Magistrate on the Warwickshire Bench for 25 years sitting in the Adult and Youth Courts, becoming Bench Chairman during that time.  We moved in retirement to Warwick and I began attending St Nicholas.  I have been the Parish Safeguarding Officer since 2012.
